Copenhagen 2009

We are about to witness the attempted rape of the American taxpayer. Among those participating in this attempted rape are President Barak Obama and former Vice President Al Gore. The reason given for the rape is the theory of man-made global warming and America's culpability in it. America, being the main whipping boy of this philosophy, is there for the skewering. Nevermind that the American economy has been at the precipice of potential collapse for over a year. Nevermind that the deficits of the federal and the various state governments are skyrocketing. The American taxpayer, long known to be quite observant of the tax laws, is there to be plundered again. Al Gore, said to have been worth a half million dollars upon leaving office in 2001, is now worth a half billion dollars! Gore has been brilliant in milking the global warming dogma since its inception. Not that Gore and his family necessarily believe the dogma. The Gore household has not been known to be frugal in its use of electricity in their various homes nor do they shun the conveyance of a Mazerati. Mr. Obama, for his part, is so concerned with needless energy usage that he has decided to scrap combining his journey to Copenhagen with that to Oslo to pick up his Nobel Peace Prize. Instead, it has been deemed that two separate trips to Scandinavia will be required for the President and his entourage. At least, that is what is being reported on National Public Radio ( www.npr.org ).

Cracks In The Facade

Unfortunate events have occurred in the last month or so to possibly mar the pagentry of Copenhagen. First, the computers of the University of East Anglia in Great Britain were hacked and damaging e-mails were exposed as to the veracity of the global warming theory. It appears that the e-mails reveal that much of the data in the study of global warming has been cooked. The University of East Anglia, an institution not yet fifty years old, has been at the epicenter of supposed research into man-made global warming. The hackers are thought to be Russian. Consequently politicians, academics and journalists are scrambling to salvage a deteriorating political and public relations situation caused by the doubt raised by the e-mail exposure. The fallout of the e-mail hacking is beginning to spread to other universities. Penn State University, for one, is investigating the integrity and casting doubt on some of the scholarship by professors on its campus involved with global warming. Secondly, there is a scandal now unfolding in Copenhagen itself. Mark Tapscott of www.washingtonexaminer.com reports that the Copenhagen Post Online is bringing word of a massive fraud investigation centering around the Danish CO2 Quotas Register which is Denmark's carbon cap and trade exchange. Companies trade carbon credits on this exchange. The fraud is suspected to be in the billions of Danish kroner and is being investigated by several European governments. America's proposed cap and trade system is being modelled after the Danish system.

Bogus Science?

All of this occurs as potentates and viziers from around the world assemble in Copenhagen to ink some sort of treaty pertaining to the regulation of man-made global warming. 140 private jets and 1,200 limosines will be at the disposal of the delegates. Will the attendees set worthwhile examples of proper car pooling while in Denmark? Danish prostitutes are doing their part, too! They will offer the visitors free sex in order to reduce their carbon footprint ( www.dailycontributor.com ). Seriously, however, this climate summit is aimed at America and American's pocketbooks. American lifestyles, it will be argued, have brought us to the dilemma that we face. After all, Americans eat more beef than anybody else on earth. How much does bovine flatulence contribute to greenhouse gases? As a matter of fact, Americans consume the most commodities of any nation. Is this summit just an act of revenge against America? As any elemental botanist and biologist knows, oxygen and carbon dioxide work in tandem with one another. Animals inhale oxygen and exude carbon dioxide. Vice versa for plants. One cannot live without the other. Most oxygen on earth emanates from ocean plankton and plankton utilizes the most carbon dioxide. It appears that the global climate summit in Copenhagen is the culmination of a sham and a scam. Who knows if bogus science will win in the end or not? If the public concludes that the science of global warming is a lie, then other scientific research from over the years will be questioned. If it is concluded that universities participated in a scam willfully, then their economic future will be bleak for years to come.

I agree that this is a bogus bunch of crap.

On Rush today, Rush had sound bites of a correspondent that is also part of the Copenhagen crap. The correspondent basically explained that it is not factual, but if it had a 10% chance of being right, it is worth it. What? These guys can't find their butts with both hands. Talk about stupid idiots. 10%! They admit that they do not know it is true but are a bunch of alarmist. And actually this points to political and control more than environmental.

Keep on hubbbing

Eovery:---Thanks for your comment. All of this is just one more power grab by this administration. The greater control that they have over our purses equates into greater control over every other aspect of our lives.

I especially enjoy all the controls that are put on the individual residents of our country while exempting the businesses and governmental offices that actually produce so much of the problem themselves. Thanks for a great read.

ROPE: It's all a hoax. It's just one more way to pick a taxpayer's pocket. All of this " green " energy sounds wonderful until it's time to pay for it. The Obama administration, earlier this year, sent Brazil $2 billion to explore for oil and gas. Would they be willing to make that same investment here in America to meet our needs? Hardly! Of course, I realize that this was a roundabout way to pay George Soros back for his political support. Soros, of course, owns millions of shares of Petrobras ( the great Brazilian energy company )!
